How we work

We start by trying to understand what actually needs to work better.

Only then do we decide what to build.

  1. Understand

    We start with the problem, the people and the work around it.

    Where does the friction come from? What is done by hand? Where does information get lost? What takes time without giving much back?

  2. Prioritise

    Not everything that can be built needs to be built.

    We choose what matters most to the business and look for the simplest route to an improvement people can feel.

  3. Build

    Once we know what has to change, we build.

    We work in short steps, test early and carry on from what we learn. That shortens the distance between an idea and a working system, and makes it easier to change direction when reality asks for it.

From a problem to a working system

We build systems around how the business actually works, not how it is supposed to work in theory.

Sometimes a new system is needed. Sometimes the existing one needs to get better. Often it is about making several parts work better together.
